Hiroshige's Bowl of Sushi

It wasn't movie-scene elaborate or contrived in the traditional sense. Guy didn't get on one knee with a fancy ring; there was no mariachi band; and there were no words written in the sky.

Instead, it happened over a delicious sushi lunch, as was their tradition (or just something they did a lot). Over bites of California roll and slurps of miso soup, Guy said, "Let's get married," and Laura said, "Okay."

The next day, they went to the mall to purchase silver rings, deciding on bands with yellow-green stones.
