The Reception
After the ceremony, the wedding party and guests will head to the Executive Hotel Vintage Park in downtown Vancouver for an intimate and beautiful wedding reception. It will be held on the 9th floor in Banquet Room A. The room has high ceilings, and there are two separate doors leading out onto a spacious patio. The view from the patio looks out onto downtown Vancouver and the Granville Street Bridge, and to the west onto English Bay.
The reception will begin at 5:30, with canapes and a deluxe cheese platter being served until 7 pm. There will be a cash bar available throughout the evening.
For the reception, a music mix will be provided by Jonathan Wrubleski, Laura's brother.
Wine will be served with the plated dinner, which will begin at 7 pm. There will be four courses including dessert, with plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. After dinner, comes the dance...and the continuation of the celebration of the day!
Guy and Laura will retire to their honeymoon suite after the reception...then they're off to Paris the next day!
